Northlea Community’s 15th Blood Donor Clinic

Message from the Northlea Community Blood Donor Clinic Committee

In Honour of Emmy
Be part of Northlea Community’s 15th Blood Donor Clinic/OneMatch Stem Cell Donor Registration
In November of 2002, two Leaside area students were diagnosed with leukemia in the same week. They required blood transfusions to save their lives and help them fight the disease. The Leaside community began running blood donor clinics twice a year to support them in their battle.
This January, Emmy’s leukemia returned for the third time. With the initial treatment begun, she experienced some challenging setbacks and has required a number of unexpected treatments. In and out of ICU, blood products have been significant in her recovery.

This clinic will be In Honour of Emmy.

More than ever, Emmy needs our support and encouragement. Your presence and donation at the clinic will give her that, and save lives at the same time. There will also be a OneMatch registration for those 17 – 50 years who want to be considered for stem cell donation to someone.

Please join us.
