Dear Leaside Resident

We have very recently heard that the Postal Station R at 2 Laird Drive may be closing. Canada Post has recently posted a notice in the Post Office that states that they are *considering closing* the Station. However it would appear that plans are in place to close the station and we need to hear from you with your comments and concerns. Click here to view a copy of the notice (pdf file).

We believe that the closing would have significant negative implications particularly for the businesses in the area. But we (and the Canada Post) need to hear from you.

We have asked that Rob Oliphant, MP arrange for a public meeting to discuss the Canada Post plans and we will inform you when a date for this meeting is set.
