Be part of Northlea Community’s 16th Blood Donor Clinic

Message from the Northlea Community Blood Donor Clinic Committee

Be part of Northlea Community’s 16th Blood Donor Clinic
Northlea has been saving lives for 8 years and teaching our children what it means to truly give. Be a part of that legacy. Make your appointment to donate blood today. Call 1-888-2-donate (1-888-236-6283). Appointments made now will determine our staffing and bed needs, so please book as soon as possible.

In November of 2002, two Leaside area students were diagnosed with leukemia in the same week. They required blood transfusions to save their lives and help them fight the disease. The Leaside community began running blood donor clinics twice a year to support them in their battle.

In January, Emmy’s leukemia returned for the third time. Emmy is working intensively at Lyndhurst as an inpatient to regain her strength through rehabilitation. She continues on chemotherapy. Blood products have been significant in her recovery.

More than ever, Emmy needs our support and encouragement. Your presence and donation at the clinic will give her that, and save lives at the same time.
Please join us.
