A Message From Tanya Wiles-Bell at the Leaside United Church
Hi everyone, Happy New Years!
The Christian Development Committee, and Leaside United Church is pleased to be offering a three part Parenting Skills lecture series. The speakers are professionals from “The Parenting Network” and The Kids Help Phone.
This series is particularly suitable for parents of school aged children and youth (ages 6 to 18).
The dates are as follows:
Tuesday January 24th “Are Power Struggles Driving You Crazy?”Tuesday February 28th “Cyber Bullying and Online Safety”
Tuesday March 27th. “No Praise Junkies in This House!”
*Each lecture will begin at 7:30pm*
Light refreshments will be served.
The cost for the entire series is $50 per family; that is to say, either one or both partners can attend the lectures. Single lecture tickets will be available at a cost of $20 (again one or both partners may attend). Tickets will be on sale after church on Sunday’s or during the week from the church office, and at the door of each event.
As this is a fundraiser, please consider spreading the word and bringing along some friends and neighbours.
